Dr. Inoka De Silva


Dr Inoka De Silva is a specialty trained Oesophago-Gastric and General Surgeon who is passionate about providing expert and personal care to patients of the Mornington Peninsula and surrounding areas. Inoka has an interest in both benign and malignant Upper GI conditions and has experience with Gastro Oesophageal Reflux Disease (GORD), hiatus hernia, achalasia, GIST, oesophageal and gastric cancer, endoscopy, colonoscopy and all general surgical conditions.

Academic and Professional Background

Inoka completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Monash University in 2009 and trained as a junior doctor and general surgical registrar at Monash Health, gaining her Fellowship of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2018.

After a year as a General Surgery Fellow/Staff General Surgeon at Frankston Hospital in 2019, Inoka was selected for Australian and Aotearoa New Zealand Gastric and Oesophageal Surgery Association (AANZGOSA) Fellowship Training; which she completed at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle NSW and Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide SA.

Inoka works at Frankston Hospital and also provides private care on the Mornington Peninsula.
